MISA licence
Bangladeshi companies and founders register with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Investment (MISA) before forming a company. Send us your RJSC papers as PDFs; we tell you which need the MOFA e-Apostille, file the registration under your power of attorney and plan the Bangladesh Bank step at the same time.
The short answerA Bangladeshi investor gets a MISA licence, now MISA investment registration, by filing RJSC documents that carry a MOFA e-Apostille with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Investment. Bangladesh has used the Apostille Convention since 30 March 2025, so there is no Saudi embassy step. MISA aims to process a complete file in 10 working days. The papers come first (see e-apostilling Bangladeshi documents), and the company itself follows MISA (see forming the Saudi LLC from Bangladesh). This is the Bangladesh route; the Bangladesh country guide covers the whole journey.
Numbers that matter
A Bangladeshi MISA file runs on dates set by two bodies: the HCCH for the apostille, and MISA's Investor Guide (13th edition, 2026) for processing and payment.
What we handle
MISA work for a Bangladeshi investor starts with the activity check, since trading carries MISA capital conditions, and ends with the Bangladesh Bank step timed to approval.

From your e-apostilled RJSC papers, under your power of attorney.
100% foreign trading needs SAR 30 million capital and a presence in at least three regional or global markets, then at least SAR 300 million invested over five years (or SAR 200 million plus a target) and 30% of Saudi staff trained every year.

From Dhaka to MISA
A Bangladeshi company's MISA registration takes five steps, three in Bangladesh and two in Saudi Arabia. Since March 2025 the apostille is applied for online through MOFA instead of at the Saudi embassy in Dhaka. The worldwide MISA registration guide explains the Saudi side for co-owners from other countries.
Papers from Bangladesh
MISA's own list is short: your RJSC certificate and last year's audited accounts, plus the parent's CR if a parent of another nationality owns your company. We add the rest, including the board resolution our Saudi legal partner needs for the articles and power of attorney. Most delays we see are document mistakes, so we check every name and date against the passports before anything is stamped.
MISA questions from Bangladesh
It was replaced in February 2025 by MISA investment registration, which Bangladeshi investors still complete before forming a company.
Bangladeshi documents skip the Saudi embassy: since 30 March 2025 they are apostilled through MOFA's e-Apostille service instead.
Yes, where the activity is open to foreign investment. Some carry extra conditions, which the activity check catches.
MISA doesn't ask for it, but equity can't leave Bangladesh without it. We plan both together.
MISA aims for 10 working days for a complete file. The Bangladeshi paperwork before it usually takes longer.
MISA notifies its fee when it approves the registration, and payment is due within 15 business days; an annual update fee follows.
Yes. A passport takes the place of the RJSC papers, and we tell you which supporting papers MISA wants in your case. If the money leaves Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Bank step still applies.
All 8 divisions
MISA filings are made online, so Chattogram exporters and Sylhet founders follow the same route as Dhaka. We work by video call, WhatsApp and phone in Bangladesh Standard Time; Riyadh is three hours behind Dhaka.
